Aubrey Edie Pappanastos

Aubrey Edie was a highly accomplished athlete at Fayetteville High School who is now an educator and is currently a National Board Certified 2nd grade teacher in Birmingham, Alabama, with seven years of experience. In high school, Aubrey’s exceptional talent in volleyball, basketball, and softball set her apart. She was a 3-year starter in volleyball and softball, and a 2-year starter in basketball. Her volleyball career included a State Championship, the Gatorade Player of the Year award, and being named State Tournament MVP. Aubrey was a 3x All-State and All-Conference selection in volleyball and was named NWA Big 6 Newcomer of the Year and Player of the Year in the same sport. In basketball, she earned 2x All-Conference honors and was an Under Armour All-America Second Team selection in volleyball.

After Fayetteville High School, Aubrey continued her Volleyball career at the University of Ole Miss. At Ole Miss, she made an indelible impact on the volleyball program, setting records for career assists, single-season assists, and single-match assists. Aubrey’s academic and athletic achievements were recognized as she earned 2x Academic All-American honors, made the SEC Honor Roll four times, and received the prestigious Taylor Medal, the highest academic distinction at Ole Miss. Additionally, she was a 2x member of the Collegiate National team, further cementing her status as a standout athlete.

Aubrey's impact extends far beyond her athletic accomplishments. Her teaching career is marked by her deep commitment to her students and her role as a leader in the classroom. Whether it’s her record-setting achievements on the playing field or her passion for teaching, Aubrey Edie continues to inspire both on and off the field.
