Wearing jersey #74 at FHS, Jim’s athletic talents caught the eye of then University of Arkansas coach Lou Holtz, who signed him to play college football for the Razorbacks from 1977-1981. Jim’s career at the University of Arkansas was marked by his dedication and skill, both on and off the field.
Today, Jim resides in Gilbert, Arizona, where he reflects on a successful athletic journey that began with his early years in Kansas and continued to Fayetteville, where his high school and college accomplishments left an enduring impact. Jim's legacy as a multi-sport athlete and his contributions to the University of Arkansas football program remain an important part of his athletic history.
